Please read these terms carefully before using The Demo Site. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of The Demo Site ("the Site", "we", "us", "our"), a UK-based website directory and guest post platform operated from England. By accessing, browsing, or using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue use of the Site immediately. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Description of Service
The Demo Site provides the following services:
- Website Directory: A curated directory of business websites, organised by category, with individual profile pages for each listing.
- Guest Post Publication: Paid guest post articles published on our platform with permanent do-follow backlinks to the submitted website.
- Agency Packages: Bulk submission packages for agencies managing multiple client websites.
3. Account Responsibilities
When creating an account on The Demo Site, you agree that:
- You must be at least 18 years of age or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction
- All information you provide is accurate, current, and complete
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
- You will notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account
- One person or entity may not maintain more than one active account without prior written consent
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe is being used fraudulently.
4. Content Submission Guidelines
All guest post submissions and directory listings are subject to review and approval. We operate a 24-hour review process for standard submissions, with priority review for agency package holders.
Accepted Content
All submitted content must meet the following requirements:
- Must be original and not published elsewhere on the internet
- Must be relevant to the business or website being listed
- Must not contain spam, excessive keyword stuffing, or misleading claims
- Must not promote illegal activities, hate speech, or adult content
- Must be written in English with acceptable grammar and spelling
- Must be a minimum of 300 words in length
- Must not infringe on any third-party intellectual property rights
- Must include accurate and verifiable business information
- Must include at least one relevant keyword or tag
Guest Post Link Policy
To protect the quality of our website, all guest posts must follow these link rules:
- Every guest post must contain exactly 2 links — no more and no fewer
- Both links must point to the same website: the website registered with the submission
- One link must point to the website's homepage (e.g. https://example.com/)
- One link must be a deep link to an inner page of the same website (e.g. https://example.com/services)
- Links to any other website, domain, or subdomain are not permitted and are blocked automatically
- Web addresses typed as plain text that point to other websites are not permitted
- Affiliate links, redirects, URL shorteners, and tracking links are not permitted
- Links must lead to live, relevant pages; we may edit or remove any link that later breaks or changes purpose
Prohibited Content
The following types of content will be rejected and may result in account termination:
- Gambling, betting, or casino-related services
- Payday loans, high-interest lending, or predatory financial products
- Pharmaceutical products without proper licensing
- Counterfeit goods or services promoting intellectual property theft
- Malware, hacking tools, or any cybersecurity threats
- Pornography, adult services, or sexually explicit material
- Weapons, ammunition, or explosive materials
- Content promoting discrimination, violence, or harassment
We reserve the right to reject, edit, or remove any submission at our sole discretion, with or without notice. If a submission is rejected before publication, we will provide a reason and offer an opportunity to revise and resubmit.
5. Payment Terms
All payments are processed securely through Hercules Commerce. The following pricing structure applies:

All prices are quoted in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and are exclusive of VAT where applicable. VAT will be added at the current rate for UK-based customers.
Refund policy: Payments are non-refundable once a guest post has been published. If your submission is rejected before publication, you may request a full refund or resubmit revised content. For agency packages, unused credits remain valid indefinitely and are non-refundable once the package has been purchased.
Failed payments: If a payment fails or is declined, your submission will not be processed until payment is successfully completed. We are not responsible for any fees charged by your bank or card issuer.
Invoicing: Agency invoicing is available for Agency 10 Pack orders. Payment is due within 14 days of invoice date. Late payments may incur interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
6. Intellectual Property
Your content: You retain ownership of any original content you submit. By submitting content to The Demo Site, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to publish, display, distribute, and promote your submitted content on our platform and associated marketing channels.
Our content: All other content on the Site, including but not limited to the site design, layout, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by or licensed to The Demo Site and is protected by UK and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute our content without prior written permission.
Copyright infringement: If you believe that content on our Site infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us at privacy@thedemosite.com with details of the alleged infringement. We will investigate promptly and take appropriate action.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, The Demo Site, its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site
- Any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
- Changes to search engine rankings or SEO performance resulting from or related to our directory listings
- The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any third-party content submitted by other users
- Service interruptions, technical failures, or data loss
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from or related to these Terms shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Demo Site and its directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Content you submit that infringes the rights of any third party
- Your use of the Site in a manner not authorised by these Terms
- Any misrepresentation made by you regarding your business, website, or submitted content
9. Termination
By you: You may close your account at any time by contacting us at privacy@thedemosite.com. Unused agency credits will be forfeited upon account closure. Published listings will remain live unless you specifically request removal.
By us: We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms, submitted prohibited content, engaged in fraudulent activity, or if your continued use poses a risk to the Site or other users. We will provide written notice of the reason for termination where practicable.
Effect of termination: Upon termination, your right to use the Site ceases immediately. Sections relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law shall survive termination.
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
